Located between Ponca and Jasper on Hwy 74, the Low Gap Café is a fantastic place to dine. Chef Bottini studied at the Culinary Institute of America in New York and established this wonderful café he calls "the friendliest place in town!"
Oark
General Store &
Café
Listed on the Arkansas Register of Historic Places and established in 1890, the Oark General Store is the longest continually-running store in Arkansas. The café features home cooking and is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Catalpa Café
Located a short drive from the cabin, visit the Catalpa Cafe for catfish, shrimp or frogleg. Those not interested in that type of fare can opt for steak. Be sure to finish off your meal with one of the cafe's wonderful pies; choose from lemon, coconut cream, chocolate cream, apple, cherry, peach and pecan pies.
