Scenic Drives
The scenic drives in and around the Ozark National Forest feature breathtaking views of Ozark valleys and winding paved roads through quaint small towns. We've included just a sampling of scenic drives that are short distances from our cabin.
The "Scenic 7," runs from the Louisiana state line to Diamond City, Arkansas near the Missouri state line. Approximately 60 miles of the highway that passes through the Ozark and Ouachita National Forests has been designated by the US Forest Service as part of the National Forest Scenic Byways system.

Scenic Byway
This scenic drive follows Hwy 21, the highway leading to our cabin. Southern access is east of Clarksville off US 64. The byway heads north for 45 miles and ends at the Ozark National Forest boundary by Mossville.

Geocachers will have fun along Hwy 21 and in Clarksville. Clarksville, known as "Cacheville" in the geocaching community, is a hotspot for caches.

The drive to Ponca along highways 16 and 43 is rolling and scenic. Visit the Elk Education Center in Ponca to learn more about these graceful and powerful creatures that are abundant in the Ozarks.
